A museum set up at Bex can give information about the various techniques of salt mining from the year 1684 to the present and the history of this white gold. Here, you can visit places in a small mine train. This train will take you to the subterranean world and to the restaurant located in the mountain at a depth of 400 meters.

To know about historic sites belonging to Swiss confederation, you can travel through the Swiss path. This 35 kilometer long path was made on the occasion of the 700 year anniversary of the Confederation. The path begins on the Rutli Mountain and ends in Brunnen at Platz der Auslandschweizer.
