Hence if a company is operating in a particular state then, it has to follow the HR guidelines pertaining to that place. While most of the countries like the United States and The United Kingdom follow global policies and do not contain much of local policies, some countries like South Africa prescribe local work instructions for the human resources to follow. International studies also deal with the modes of interaction between different countries. This could include the foreign policies and the diplomacies laid between different countries. It also relates the significance about foreign societies, cultures and various systems of the government. Most governmental organizations are different from each other. For example there is a vast difference between American and British constitutions. International studies also teach its students about different constitutions and how they are formed and what it consists. Apart from these it also concentrates on the movement of the refugees, immigrants, workers, students, tourists and investors. There are also international organizations like the World Trade Centre and World Health Organization which functions through global and international policies. Bringing in all together would study about the globalization of the world economy. International studies also teach foreign languages which are would be helpful and undertake multitasking. Some of these foreign languages that are taught to many people today are English being the global international language, German, French, Latin and Spanish. All these are required for most of us in the world today.
