The art of parenting can sometimes be a handful and give the impression that it will be endless. You shouldn't be afraid of showing your children your sense of humor. Even if you're actually rather serious you'll still have a sense of humor. So when it seems like everything is out of your control you should attempt to find humor in things. When appropriate you should have a laugh with your children, to help get rid of some stress. There's a lot of preparation that must go into airline travel these days. When flying with a child that is younger than two the option of holding your child exists as well as of purchasing a seat for your child as long as he or she is younger than two. However, some airlines may be curtailing that practice in the future. Either way, you have to be prepared for the almost inevitable happening which is keeping your baby on your lap for the duration. You may want to use blankets on the flight and can get one from your flight attendant. But when it's your baby it might be a good idea to bring your own baby blanket. It's never a bad idea to bring a few additional blankets with you.

You should never avoid chances to have fun with your children. That is correct, dads, you are the ones we are talking to! You only have a few years of your child being young and you being able to do silly and enjoyable things with them. Once they become teens, they will just roll their eyes at you and it will make them uncomfortable. Taking part in these activities lets your children learn a lot about you. This will also show them that you love and accept them and enjoy spending time with them. All of those feelings will be experienced in your children, and it will do wonders for their self esteem. Just like mothers, fathers are a special and critical part of any family. When it comes to raising healthy, stable children, a father has his own priceless contributions he can add. Of course, it is highly likely that one or both of you will work full-time and be tired when you come home from work. Apportion your time and take a stab at offering everything you can to your child.
